School Shootings and Mom Anxiety

Today I had the privilege of being a part of a Q & A session on Facebook Live for Happy Mama Wellness regarding school shootings and mom anxiety. Happy Mama Wellness is an online Facebook community, organized by an amazing coach and mom who helps mamas prepare for childbirth and child rearing! Lynn is absolute sweetheart and a wealth of knowledge!
Lynn originally asked me to speak to her group because so many of her mamas where experiencing extreme anxiety about dropping their kids off at school and worrying about their children's safety. They were also looking for some tips and techniques on how to combat or control this anxiety.
In the video, I discuss ways to talk about school shootings and violence with your children. I also discuss 2 specific techniques to help you overcome your anxiety when you're feeling anxious about sending your children to school in the wake of these horrific incidences or anytime you are feeling anxious or panicked.
After speaking with the group, I thought it would be valuable to share the video with my mamas as well.
